French Style Pork Chops

Simple pork chop recipe features cream of mushroom soup and thyme. Chops are topped with onion rings and baked until golden brown.
Ingredients -
6 Pork Chops
1/2 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Parsley
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 can Onion Rings, divided
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Heat heavy skillet over medium heat.

3. Brown the pork chops on both sides, about 2 minutes per side.

4. Add water, thyme, parsley, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and ½ onion rings to small bowl, stir to combine.

5. Pour mixture over pork chops.

6. Top with remaining onion rings.

7. Bake 1 hour.

Thawing Pork Chops
Place chops in the refrigerator overnight to properly thaw them. The quality of the chops will be best when this process is followed.
