Cranberry Pork Chops

A great dish served year round. Pork chops baked with cranberry sauce, honey, ground clove and garnished with orange slices.
Ingredients -
4 Thick-Cut Pork Chops
1 (16 ounces) can Whole-Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
4 Orange Slices with Peel, to garnish
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

2. Heat large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

3. Add pork chops and brown 2 minutes per side.

4. Place browned pork chops in ceramic casserole or baking dish.

5. Combine whole berry cranberry sauce, honey, and ground cloves in medium bowl.

6. Stir well and spoon over pork chops.

7. Cover baking dish with foil.

8. Bake 1 hour.

9. Garnish with the orange slices.

Drain Off The Juices
When you are thawing meat in the refrigerator, drain juices as soon as the chops are thawed. The juices will deteriorate and spoil much quicker than the meat.

Store raw meats on the bottom shelf of your refrigerator to insure meat juices don’t have the opportunity to drip on or contaminate other foods.
